Description

The dataset comprises occurrence and host records of hymenopteran parasitoids associated with gall midges (Cecidomyiidae, subfam. Cecidomyiinae) in Europe. It comprises data obtained by a range rearing techniques, incl. rearing adult wasps from parasitoid larvae extracted from galls, directly from parasitized gall midge larvae within galls or from gall midge larvae transferred to soil to pupate there, in many cases after hibernation. Documentation of rearing techniques and results are found in Bruun et al. (2024).

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 371 records.
